Our strategy and plans

All Surrey partners have signed up to Surrey’s Health and Wellbeing Strategy as our overarching strategy; as local health and care partners we have also developed a set of key priorities known as the Critical Five that will help us transform our health and care system and make sure it’s sustainable into the longer-term.

  1. Joint Forward Plan Sets out how our local NHS, partner local authorities, voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) sector, our Places and Neighbourhoods will deliver the ICS strategy and NHS Long Term Plan commitments for our local population.
  2. Our strategy How we are building on our existing work to improve the quality of life, health and wellbeing of our residents and Surrey as a place to live.
  3. Clinical Strategy How we aim to deliver our clinical ambitions, with more preventative healthcare and support for people outside our acute hospitals, alongside a strong focus on collaboration, quality and a reduction in the variation of care and treatment.
  4. One System Plan In Surrey Heartlands, we have one single view of transformation and recovery, known as our One System Plan, which is reflected in the plans and strategies of all partners.
