Enact performance workshop for schools

Our Careers Team work with Enact Solutions, a drama based training provider, to provide a 45 minute drama based performance to local schools in Surrey.

There are age appropriate performances for both primary and secondary schools:

  • Who Care's for primary schools
  • Think Careers for secondary schools

Both performances encourage young people to consider the possibilities available to them within the health and social care sector. The performance topics show

  • The types of careers in health and care. There are over 350 different roles - it's more than 'just' being a doctors or a nurse.

  • The pathways and progression routes, including apprenticeships.

  • How having a job in healthcare offers training and career progression.

  • Where to get help, support and more information.

Our Careers Ambassadors can attend these sessions to answer any question a young person might have at the end of the performance.

Step into the NHS competition for primary and secondary school students

This is an exciting competition for primary and secondary school students designed to help raise career aspirations, challenge stereotyping and put learning into context for the future.

Students can explore the breadth of NHS job opportunities with curriculum-linked resources and nationwide competition. The winning entry will even be displayed in their local community!
